fine digital wares, suggested poking an uncompiled .lua back in place of the compiled version. And, by Jove, it worked!
Once you've grabbed your .lol, edited the 6th byte, decompiled and made your edits you can just import the cleartext .lol back into the ZAD and you're good to go.
